🌞❄️ One theory suggests the unique ability of humans to grow long hair on our heads was an evolutionary adaptation for our protection. In the heat of the summer, longer/thicker head hair shields our bodies from the sun’s harmful UV rays, while heat and activity might also help boost growth. Come winter, our bodies shift to ‘hibernation mode,’ shedding more head hair and possibly sprouting more body hair instead for warmth. Nature always has a plan.
