We didn’t buy the perfect house. We bought the one in a location we couldn’t pass up. The plan was to remodel quickly. Get in, fix it up, and be “done” in a year. That… didn’t happen (not even close). We doubled our mortgage, made sacrifices, and three years later, we’re still working on it. It’s been slower, messier, and more expensive than we expected. But we wouldn’t trade it. We love our street. We love our pool. We love our layout. And we really love where we live. Even with the unfinished
